The Loft at Jack's Barn

About Jack’s Barn

A Barn With a Story

More than twenty years ago, the journey began with a search for an old farmhouse, a little acreage, and a barn in western New Jersey. As historic preservationists, Darren and Chris were drawn to a neighboring barn that had once been part of a much larger farm and had spent nearly 40 years as an antique co-op. Closed for years and filled to the rafters with furnishings and unexpected treasures, it was a place rich with history and possibility.

After purchasing the barn as-is, they reopened it under its original name, Jack’s Barn. Its next chapter began when a couple asked to exchange vows in the loft. One celebration led to another, and the barn gradually became the gathering place it is today. Modern comforts were carefully added while preserving the authentic character, rustic beauty, and charm that made the property so special from the beginning.

Our Journey

Preserved With Purpose, Shared With Heart

Demi & Casey

In May of 2019, after 8 years, Demi and Casey were married at Jack's Barn. They work together to help future marriers create their dream wedding. Demi works primarily as the General Manager, acting as the liaison between the couples, venue, and vendors. Casey is often behind the scenes, maintaining the venue, grounds and is our lead bartender at events.

Darren & Chris

In Provincetown, 30 years ago, the two met and have been together ever since. In 2015, Chris and Darren officially tied the knot themselves after years of helping others plan their perfect wedding. Today, they are the owners of The Loft at Jack's Barn.

A Family Approach

More than a venue, Jack’s Barn is a place shaped by history, restored with intention, and thoughtfully shared with every couple who begins a new chapter here.
